Looking for something to do besides shop? Here are a few ideas:
- Inspiring People Project - Who inspires you? Choose 2-3 people each year to learn more about. Read a book, watch a documentary, research online sources, interview the person or someone that knew them, write a conversation that you’d like to have with them and imagine their response. Create a special night to share with family and friends what you learned and how you were inspired.
- Take a trip to the library – rent a movie or stack of books that spark curiosity and creativity

Although I am in a totally different place in my life, and in a totally different state, I love your blog and idea of “Nothing New.” My mantra this year is “Only on Sale.”
If you have readers in the Vancouver area, or ladies in need of some great clothers, check out Deja Vu in the Fisher’s Landing area. Name labels in beautiful condition. My favorite part is the sale rack outside. I scored a Chico’s shell and cardigan set of $15.
Also, in Portland at 23rd and Raleigh is Sews to Fit. Tell Sherry hi if you go.
